Amethyst Teaches About Easter
by Tabitha Farris
What is Easter really about?
Little Amethyst is curious. The day before Easter, everyone in the house seems busy. Her daddy is fixing the car, her mommy is cooking in the kitchen, and Grandma is watering flowers in the garden. But Amethyst has an important question:
“What is Easter about?”
As she visits each family member, Amethyst learns something special. Her daddy explains the miracle of Jesus rising again. Her mommy reminds her how much Jesus loves the whole world. And Grandma shows her how Easter is like flowers growing again after winter — a beautiful reminder of new life.
That night, Amethyst falls asleep with a Bible verse in her heart. The next morning at Sunday School, she surprises everyone with what she has learned.
Maybe the teacher should let Amethyst teach the class!
Filled with warmth, faith, and family love, Amethyst Teaches About Easter helps young readers understand the true meaning of Easter in a gentle and joyful way.
